Study in UK
The UK is one of the most popular choices for Indian students — globally recognised degrees, shorter course durations and a large Indian student community make it a strong value-for-time option.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is IELTS mandatory for the UK?
Not always. Many universities accept PTE, TOEFL or Duolingo, and some offer an English waiver based on your 12th-grade English marks. Visa rules still apply, so we check the exact requirement for your chosen university.
Can I work while studying in the UK?
Degree-level students can usually work up to 20 hours per week during term and full-time during official breaks.
When should I apply for the September intake?
Ideally 8–10 months before — start shortlisting by November–December of the previous year so you have time for scholarships and the CAS.
Can I take my dependants?
Since January 2024 most taught Master’s students cannot bring dependants; research degrees (PhD / research Master’s) are an exception. Check the current rule before planning.
