Frequently Asked Questions
Can Indian students get full scholarships abroad?
Fully funded scholarships exist (e.g. Chevening, DAAD, Stipendium Hungaricum) but are very competitive. Most students receive partial university scholarships of 10%–50% of tuition.
When should I apply for scholarships?
Many deadlines are 6–9 months before the intake. Some university scholarships are automatic with an early application.
Can I combine a scholarship with an education loan?
Yes. Scholarships reduce the amount you need to borrow; the loan can cover the remaining tuition and living costs.
Are there scholarships for MBBS abroad?
Some universities offer merit-based fee concessions, and Italy has income-based regional scholarships. Options are more limited than for Master’s programmes.
